Anne Marie Simoneaux, Associate

Focus on Business
Anne Marie represents clients in all aspects of general commercial litigation and business transactions. She regularly assists clients in the healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, commercial real estate, and telecommunications industries with contract drafting, asset purchases and divestitures, and other corporate and outside general counsel matters. Her experience includes serving as the lead associate on sell-side and purchase-side transactions and reviewing due diligence, drafting ancillary contracts and closing documents, and preparing and reviewing disclosure schedules

Background
Anne Marie earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law where she was a business editor for the Georgia State University Law Review. She was also a CALI Award recipient in Torts, Evidence, and Wills, Trusts and Estates. Anne Marie also holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Emory University.

During law school, Anne Marie interned for the Honorable J.P. Boulee of the District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She also interned for the Honorable Nels S.D. Peterson of the Supreme Court of Georgia..

Outside of the Office
Anne Marie enjoys walking in Piedmont Park, hot yoga, and reading.
